It took us 12 years to finally return to this place again and I say it hasn't changed much at all ! A family friendly beach - In the past, we always return to this beach to do most of our picnic as the sea is much calmer here . It's the first time I have seen Shark Island connected to the spit which creates a natural land bridge to the island during low tide - I havent been to the island yet nor am I daring enough to cross the spit - apparently people lost their lives crossing it ! from wikipedia : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fingal_Bay,_New_South_Wales
