A quick day trip north of Sydney - we were actually refugees from the heatwave west of Sydney - A scorching 42 degrees vs Newport beach's cool 18 degrees celsius ! Definitely a beautiful beach with lots of parking, nearby amenities for picnic and a large children playground ...and its all free except parking.
