April 19 2017 ... quite an early start and what a morning ! I remember we had a slight snowfall and the sunrise to follow is magnificent !! You can see from a distance is the famous 'Festung Marienberg' or Fortress Marienberg which seems to me is on a constant guard, protecting the medieval town below which is Wurzburg ... I guess, this would be the first and last time I will be in this part of the world... definitely beautiful, scenic and worth returning, but who knows :) from Wikipedia : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W%C3%BCrzburg
